Halloween's all in good fun until someone shows up looking truly frightful. In the movie Mean Girls, bewildered outsider Cady remarks, "In the regular world, Halloween is when children dress up in costumes and beg for candy. In Girl World, Halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it." And often, that goes double for guys.
Of course, Halloween is celebrated for dismissing inhibitions and transforming everyday wallflowers into smoking hotties. Because, face it, some costumes were made to get a little dirty. The power, confidence, and authority that come with cop uniforms and fitted fishnets are striking aphrodisiacs, just like the virginal innocence of lacy chambermaids and fairytale beauties in knee socks. And while sexy gone right looks so, so sultry, sexy gone bad is a Halloween horror story.
