Hi Everyone ;o)
Well, it looks like all of you who said the squirrels are licking the stones for salt, are right! It's funny, they don't lick our red rocks, only the white ones.
Mom and I have bowls of water out and bird baths are filled! Poor little creatures outside! I don't know how they do it! We have even bought some extra feeders too!
Well, on the forecast for today, they said, if we don't get rain today, they don't know when we will be getting it! It's only a 30% chance of rain too! We are under a water restriction now! We are going into our 3rd week with no rain!
Trees are stressed and plants are wilting! For our gardens, and trees, I have started trimming things back and putting extra mulch down! I have one garden that's under our neighbors cedars. In this garden is Russian Sage, ferns, bugle weed, hostas, wild grasses, primrose. I basically let everything go for it! LOL! But, since there has been such a drought and ferns love water, they have been cut back! The ferns already had April, May and June. It's time to let the other plants grow. It's a lot of work doing this, but worth it.

After: Yes, there is a Halloween flag up. What can I say, we have to keep cool some how! LOL!
Ok, now for the winner. First, I want you all to know, that this was not fixed! I swear to you it wasn't! You will understand, why I say this, when you see the name ;o)
