Halloween at Fibbers and The Black Goose Inn
The Radio After Dark troupe offers fair warning to those willing to risk attending our All Hallows’ performances at Fibber Magees, Sunday, October 28th at 7 pm and The Black Goose Inn Monday, October 29th at 7 pm.
You will be transported into a labyrinthine world of fear and suspense as we present, “The Monkey’s Paw,” a haunting tale whose horror lies in what the author chooses not to describe, the imaginative seed he slips into our sub-consciousness without revealing the horrific sight that must surely be waiting outside.
The live performance of this story will implant a terrifying image that creeps into your restless nights, disturbing your sleep patterns for years —as you remain entranced by the sound of tapping on the other side of the locked door.
Luckily, we shall leave you laughing out loud with our 2nd Act performance of “Our Miss Brooks – Halloween Party”, starring Kathy McIntyre as Miss Brooks, probably the most famous and funny teacher ever on radio. This classic Halloween comedy is filled with the gags and one liners that had millions glued to their radios during the 30s, 40s and 50s.
If you’ve not experienced a Radio After Dark performance, we guarantee you a very entertaining evening as we recreate in a live performance, the Golden Age of Radio, complete with sound effects, period costumes and occasional bloopers. Tina Jones, Chris Jans, Kathy McIntyre and Bill Miner have been casting spells of hilarity and horror to the delight of audiences for years and look forward to adding you to our list of satisfied audience members. Don’t miss our first show at these wonderful locations!
Tickets $15.00 @ Fibbers and The Black Goose.
