Today, I will introduce you to my September Favorites! Which is pretty much self-explanatory. It's some of my favorites from the month of September. It's crazy how time past by so fast, and Halloween is coming up! Omfg. I honestly don't know what to do for Halloween. I mean, I love dressing up, but, who knows Halloween is so expensive either way. It could be the costume, or parties, and many more. Glob!
Anyway, let's get this thing started! Btw, sorry for the blurry picture, it was pretty much of a last minute shot before I started posting this. But you know, sometimes with blurry pictures, you have the right pose down. Why is that?!
More details after the cut!
Guillem March is best known for his work of the new Catwoman comic series (The New 52). I absolutely love the Catwoman series, maybe because I get easily drawn to women heroines or women characters in general. I adore his art style and I was stoked to find out that he got his own art book. I got this as a gift, but you could get this on Amazon.com.
Here's some sneak peeks of his work. I definitely recommend it if you're a comic book lover, loves pin-ups, and/or admiration for girls, girls, girls.
I cannot get enough of this OPI Kyoto Pearl. It goes out smoothly, and it comes in a nice opal pearl finish. I usually use this as a base for most of my shimmer or lightly opaque nail polish. It brings the colors out! I got this in a local nail supply store called Crush Waikiki, and of course, it's located in Waikiki. It's very sweet for the shop owner to remember me. She gave me the OPI Avoplex Cuticle Oil To Go. It's so helpful. My nails grows out like crazy, so I have a lot of problems with my cuticles. I take this with me wherever I go! Definitely my fave.
My fiancé's dad brought me a lot of goodies for me from Sephora (which I would post about that in the future). I hardly shop at Sephora and I've been meaning to get replenishments on some of my favorites that I used before. It's just a shame that most make-up products cost so much money, so instead I've been using drugstore makeup brands. Which is not bad, because if there's some products that doesn't work out for me, I won't feel like it's too much of a waste of money. But, I got an opportunity where my fiancé's dad decided to take us shopping while he was here on this island. I had fun and I love him. He is a sweetheart. I swear, sometimes my fiancé is the spitting image of his dad. I can see why they're related.
Lol anyway, I always have problems finding the perfect blush for me. I found a successful one from Victoria's Secrets from their Beauty Rush line but I was just bummed out that they don't carry it anymore. I heard a lot of good things about Nars Orgasm. I always wanted to try it out, but I always have a fear that it might be too light or too bright for me. Of course, I have those finicky Asian skin tones that is a mixture of yellow tones, some olives, but I am mostly fair. Some colors would be a hit or miss for me, especially blush. I also wanted to get some bronzer too, to add some contour to my face. I am always afraid of bronzer because I don't want it to be too dark. So I was researching online on the Nars Orgasm and Laguna duo on light fair skin and it looks really good. It gives that healthy glow, which I need! Because if I don't have either a blush or bronzer on me, I look like I'm dead.
So I decided to get it. I was in Sephora for hours, debating on and off if I should get it or not. I tried it out, and I love love LOVE it. I don't think I could live without it now. It adds a right amount of color to my face and I am surprise that it doesn't go on bold compare to most blush/bronzer. I love the fact that I can build it up depending if I'm going to work or going out. It's great. :D
One day I had a shitty day at work, and Sean decided to surprise me with chocolates! He sure knows how to be a gentlemen. I am so amazed with this chocolate. Franco Cake Batter Chocolates?! Get the fuck outta here! Are you kidding me?!! Two of my favorite things, combine into one. If you know me, or if you follow me on Instagram. I love love LOVE cake batter/birthday cake flavor! It's so amazing, it makes me think that it's my birthday every fucking day!
These little bastards are milk chocolate on the outside and it's cake batter on the inside with sprinkles! Hnnnnnnnnng! Heck, CAN YOU TELL HOW I'M EXCITED WITH THESE CHOCOLATEs?!
It's a shame... I ate almost the whole box in one setting. Now there's two left... I should eat those sparingly.
