2Faced Dance

Pixar’s fabulous and funny Brave comes to Ludlow’s big screen.
Music, movement and puppetry all come together in a magical performance by ajtc Theatre Company on Thursday 1 November. Scarecrow is a performance for children and families written by highly praised writer Mike Kenny and has received much acclaim in other venues nationally. Following the fun-packed performance, there will be a chance for children to have a go at making their own scarecrow using a range of materials and inspiration form the show.
Cinema at Ludlow Assembly Rooms is set to prove as popular as ever during the Autumn holidays as Pixar’s fabulous and funny Brave comes to Ludlow’s big screen. The animation tells the tale of Scottish Princess Merida who, after inadvertently bringing down disaster on her family, takes up her bow and arrow to set things right! Character’s voices include celebrities Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters and Robbie Coltrane.
The Assembly Rooms will also be working in partnership with 2Faced Dance Company, a professional contemporary dance company based at The Courtyard in Hereford, to deliver two high-energy urban dance workshops.
Jenna Blair, Sales and Marketing Manager for Ludlow Assembly Rooms says “We want to provide more opportunities for young people to participate in high quality dance activity. We were asked by a group of year 9 students at Ludlow C of E School to help them take part in street and hiphop dance classes so we’ve teamed up with the wonderful 2Faced Dance to do just that. If the workshops prove popular, we hope to deliver regular classes from January”
The two hour workshops are priced at just £5 and take place on Wednesday 31 October at 11am (7-11 year olds) and Friday November at 11am (age 11+).
