On Saturday, February 16th, my best girlfriends surprised me with a cooking class at Sur La Table for part 1 of my bachelorette!!
I know some of you may not be interested in this so click the jump below if you’d like to continue reading!

No, they did not let me cook like that. Although funny, it would’ve been a fire hazard, haha

As you can see, I had a ton of fun ;)

My talented maid of honor made everyone matching aprons and made me a “Bride” apron. We were the coolest kids in the cooking class. We walked in like we owned the kitchen. Ok, not really, but we looked like really freaking cool. At least we didn’t burn anything. The table behind us was another story, haha

It looked like everyone really enjoyed themselves or maybe they were just smiling for the camera (kidding). I hope that everyone walked away learning something new :)

This makes me so happy! Look at everyone cooking and enjoying themselves. I really couldn’t have asked for a more appropriate and fun bachelorette.

Ok, clearly the lighting sucks but we made this REALLY good pancetta & dried cherry spinach salad, smashed garlic potatoes & scallops with a blood orange beurre blanc, and vanilla pot de creme with chocolate sauce. We were pretty much starving by the time the scallops finished so I don’t know if we really tasted much of it, but whatever I tasted was amazing. They gave us the recipes so hopefully I’ll get around to making it for Jason and I sometime! Maybe a blog post about it? :)

I have the most beautiful & best friends :)
I really could not have asked for a better bachelorette. The ladies all know me so well to throw this together. My maid of honor is such a gem to have planned this with 9 other women and to have it go off without a hitch! Now, part 2 has no pictures because it involved a lot of drinking (at least for me – I’m nowhere near my college tolerance levels anymore!!), which I completely paid for on Sunday by being in bed practically all day, but that only means a successful bachelorette, right?
To everyone that came: thank you, from the bottom of my heart. It really makes my heart so full knowing I have you all in my life and that you would take the time out of your busy lives to come celebrate with me! I hope you all had as much fun as I did! xoxoxo
