Q: I know there are police officer and doctor costumes but I wanted to know exactlly the opposite costume of someone in a straight jacket so we could be a couple.
Then he could pretend to give you a tranquilizing shot while you struggled and complained and generally raved like a maniac. Or he could give you some "pills". It would be really fun!! : P
btw, if you added a tinfoil hat to your outfit and claimed to be getting messages from Mars, that would be hysterical.
What should a guy wear for an "opposites" costume party?
Q: I am trying to decide what I will need to wear for this party…. basically the women dress as men and the men dress as women! There will be prizes for the best costumes so I want to look as good as I can, so any advice you can give would be great. What kind of woman would you dress up as, what items will I need, any tips. I guess the basics will be a skirt or dress, a wig and high heels, but please help!
A. well get a bra and stuff it, then put a dress on and a girl wig… wear heels and put some jewlery on too… then put on your makeup to look purty! put red lipstick on and oh! you should buy those fake eyelashes that ppl use for halloween! hope you have fun!

1.Well, think if you want to be an "older" woman, or a woman your age.
2. Do you want to be recognizable (actress) or just a woman. Just a woman is easier because people will have nothing to compare you with.
3. Choose an era: 40s’, 50s’, 60s’, 70s, etc.,or current.
4. Occupational costume: nurse, teacher, librarian, belly dancer, mom, waitress, stewardess, military…
5. If you want to be "cartoonish" anything goes, but if you want to look a little more realistic: shave your legs as many athletes do(bicycle racing/swmming) wear minimal make-up, really learn to walk on heels, sit properly and work on your mannerisms. Remember is just not the clothing you’ll be wearing, but your mannerisms.
6. Flip through magazines, books, websites, catalogs, etc to get ideas on the look you are working on.
7.You will need jewerly (necklace, earrings, bracelets, and rings)
Once you have done that, THEN you can go hunting for your stuff! THRIFT shops are the ideal place. Shoes will be a problem unless you start looking for cross-dresser websites, magazines and stores, you will definitively find your shoes there. You’ll have to practice walking on those puppies just like real women, so wear them at home 24/7 just like Dustin Hoffman said he did in a interview. And please be careful, you can easily twist or break an ankle.
8. As you know they sell fake butts and stuffed brassieres. But to save money, stuff your bra just like girls used to do and still do, stuff with tissue paper or socks.
9.Fake butt: go to the fabric store and buy enough "batting" to give you "just enough" butt.
Of course if you are doing the funny fat butt then a simple pillow will suffice.
I’m so glad you are not waiting for the last minute, now is the time to start hunting.
Champ, wish I was there to assist with your transformation, but you are now on your own.
Have you ever cross dressed for a costume party or any other reason?
Q: I am going to a costume party soon and thought it might be a good laugh to dress up in drag and pretend to be a woman. Have you ever dressed as the opposite gender for a costume, what did you dress as and how good did you look? And do you have any suggestions?
A few years later I dressed up like a scary looking hobo. I got some of my bf’s old jeans and old t-shirt with a camo jacket, got them really dirty. I tore the toes to an old pair of loafers I had and put on this scary looking old man mask and a beanie. And I carried an empty bottle of Busch in a paper sack. It was hilarious, one of the best costumes of the night.
Think about a woman that has been in the news like Lindsey Lohan in jail, or Angelina Jolie with a ton of kids attached to you, or Kim Kardashian with the huge butt, you can let people put drinks on it. Make it funny like that, because a full on drag like RuPaul might come across weird. I hope this helps. Have fun!

Go for it. But don’t consider it drag. Dress as a female your own age and you will look more convincing.
