Time to catch up! Went to the beach today with kids. This time to Maroochydore. Matthew had a good time. He was smiley as usual.
This morning Jojo and Jeff ran up Mt Ngungun 5 times! Jojo is training for a big race and Jeff got to tag along today.
We’ve had a bit of flooding lately. This is just around the corner from us. Usually there is only a trickle of stream here! All this water had Jenny and me just a touch worried, but I think we were the only ones concerned. It sounds like a fairly common occurrence.
Adventure day with the Moore’s at Mt Tamborine at Cedar Creek Falls. Matthew was of course happy as can be.

Matthew trying to escape from jail.
Proof Jeff made it to Sydney!
The kids are loving games lately. The second is Kinsey screaming “ZINGO!”

Kids playing in the closet. Its fun to watch them be so creative when they are playing.
3 more Moores!!!! Just kidding. Some of the kids good friends from church
That spec out in the lake is Jeff and the girls in a little raft we purchased at a garage sale. We tried to chase birds with it, but it wasn’t quite stealth or fast enough.
Audrey and Kinsey hiking with Jenny
IKEA!!!!! After the last experience we had at Ikea of losing a shopping cart and 3 screaming kids, we thought we’d never return. However, we needed a cheap rug so we braved it again. This time was not much better unfortunately.
Jeff took all 3 of the kids out to Cleveland point park while Jenny had a day off. We had a lot of fun!

Christmas Breakfast with the Moores. We sure missed all of our family and friends and snow, but we had a very nice and memorable day. 2 very kind families had us over for breakfast and then for lunch. We felt very loved and included.
For Christmas eve we had fish and chips and played at the beach. The kids were very proud of Jenny and the tunnel she made for them.

Caroling! We only made it to 2 homes, and it was mostly Jeff and Jenny singing, but it was a good time.
Somehow only the top half of our Christmas tree made it to Oz, which made it perfect for the girls to help.
Wategos beach at Byron bay. This was a fun excursion for us.

We have had 2 run ins with Jellyfish now. At Bribie Island, Audrey and Jeff both got stung by blue bottles and the life guards gave us ice packs. I can’t tell if Matthew is just smiling because he is happy or if he thought it was funny.
A rainy day at the beach is still a day at the beach. Sure a fun day with friends.

From the looks of it, Jenny has put on Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, or some other equally exciting movie.
Planting our Aussie Garden.
The Moore biker gang.
The kids are getting so good at helping and being independent.
