After listing my MG short story, “How the Lizard Got Back Her Legs” on Amazon for 99 cents (their lowest possible price) it price-matched to FREE already! Woot! Not sure why this happened so soon after publishing, while my other short story, “Paying Piper,” still hasn’t gone free. And it was published in January! Grrrr.
Also, “Lizard” hasn’t gone free on Amazon UK (I checked), but who knows? Maybe that’ll be the next thing that happens. Of course, it’s still free on Smashwords, Kobo, and this website. But at least now, if you’re an Amazonite and want it on your Kindle, you have the option.
