A woman and her 5-year-old son were found shot to death this morning in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
The bodies of 31-year-old Shavonne Brown and her son Sterling were discovered in their first-floor apartment near 53rd and Winchester.
Investigators aren’t saying whether the deaths are the result of a domestic dispute or a break-in; and there’s no word on who alerted the police.
