Comic Amber Tozer Sells Series to Fox | The Jane Dough

Hollywood

Fox’s Saturday night animation block Animation Domination High-Def — or as the cool kids/handsomely-paid marketing executives call it, ADHD — is about to get its Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place on! …By that I mean that an animated series created by a woman (the metaphorical “Girl”) will be joining the testosterone-heavy line-up (the “Two Guys”). I don’t know if Ryan Reynolds plans on making an appearance and I can’t promise pizza nor a place.

Splitsider reports that up-and-coming LA comic Amber Tozer has sold her animated series The Tozer Show to the programming block. While there is no word on what the series is about or when it will debut, Tozer made an announcement on her Facebook page, writing, “I’m so happy and excited and grateful and I feel like overeating.” She goes on to thank Dino Stamatopoulos, who you may know as STAR-BURNS from Community (what a TWIST!); apparently Star-Burns “helped make this happen” and encouraged Tozer to pitch her series. So…there’s that.

Since that’s pretty much all the information we have on The Tozer Show, here’s a clip from Tozer’s #nitTWITS, a sketch comedy web series inspired by funny tweets.
