No costume, no problem!
Picking a costume and planning your look, is undoubtedly fun on Halloween, and the days leading up to it. It’s almost an unspoken requirement for trick-or-treaters…if they want candy anyway. But for the older crowd who still want to be festive without a costume; either because they don’t have one or can’t wear one (school, work, etc.) getting into the holiday is still possible.
Leading up to Oct. 31, you can find Halloween themed apparel at most clothing stores; department, speciality, and even every day ones. Non-costume items that are most popular include: t-shirts, socks and headbands. They’re typically inexpensive and believe it or not, are just as festive because you can wear them for years to come. Think about it, most kids, even teens don’t like recycling Halloween costumes. But a t-shirt? That’s no big deal at all!
