The rain cleared out before the kids started trick-or-treating and it was a nice night–albeit a tad warm. The heavy rains never did materialize. My outside rain gauge got slightly less than 1 inch for both days, and the inside one says today was .47 inches. We had all the windows opened all day and everything felt damp and sticky! The heat is definitely off, but I couldn’t bring myself to turn back on the air conditioning!
The nice thing about the rain was it was really a nice slow rain, which tends to help the plants instead of a deluge. The winds kicked in for a couple of hours, but they are gone now too. I have only had 7 kids by and it is winding down. Hope you have had a nice Halloween!
