It’s that time of year when ghosts, ghouls, and goblins start popping up all over the place. In the spirit of the Halloween season, the Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut in Niantic, CT will be holding their annual Haunted Garden & Monster Shindig from October 18 to 20, 2013. They bill this as “frightfully funny” so they are not trying to scare the jeepers out of you.
The festivities include the Haunted Garden where outdoor exhibits have been transformed into an eerie Halloween scene, as well as the Monster Shindig inside with games, jokes, and refreshments. Costumes are welcome.
The Haunted Garden will be held:
- Friday October 18, 2013 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
- Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
- Sunday, October 20, 2012 from noon to 4:30 PM
There will also a special time on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM that is set aside for children on the autism spectrum or who require a more sensory-friendly environment.
