Halloween is coming up in less than a month, guys! Halloween is my favorite holiday. I go out every yea. Seriously check out my previous posts on Halloween here. To get you ampled for the holiday here are my top 5 favorite Halloween movies.

1. Hocus Pocus – Not only is this one of my favorite Halloween movies but it’s probably one of my favorite movies. It’s not a good October if I don’t watch this at least twice. It’s a classic where you can enjoy the humor when you’re younger and enjoy the different kind of humor when you’re older.

2. Casper - This movie is adorable. I saw it at Target the other day and said “Can I keep you?” so I bought it for $5. It’s another movie great for all ages. It’s also a really sweet love story. Plus the ghost brothers make an awesome comedic relief.

3. Halloweentown – Remember when Disney used to make entertaining TV movies? I do. This was definitely one of them. There’s also like two or three sequels and while the second is pretty good too, nothing beats the first one. Like all Disney films, it’s great for the family. Plus I still say the Grandma’s quote pretty frequently: “Being normal is vastly overrated.”

4. Under Wraps – Another great Disney TV movie. This one I feel like was a really underrated and lesser known one. Basically it’s about a boy who befriends a mummy and shenanigans ensue. Super funny, maybe a bit darker than Halloweentown, but still equally if not more entertaining.

5. Halloween – How can you have a Halloween movie list without mentioning the movie actually called Halloween. This movie isn’t just a great Halloween film, it was also a definite huge stepping stone for slasher films. There wouldn’t be half the horror movies around if this wasn’t made. Not super duper scary but still a classic.
