THE Wrong Mans actor James Corden has prompted famed pie maker Ginsters to step in once more to one of the most hotly disputed culinary debates of all time – do you pronounce the company name with a G... or a J?
The ongoing debate among pie and pasty-munchers has been raging for as long as man has dribbled seering hot pie gravy down his chin. That's since the seventies in fact when the company began.
In Tuesday night's very funny episode on BBC2 Sam (Mathew Baynton) and Phil (Corden) are on the run with wounded Marat Malankovic (Karel Roden), but Phil needs to make a quick scoff stop.
In a surreal scene Phil is quizzed as to why he's been gone 10 minutes. Corden the procedes to re-ignite the pie debate when he says: "I'm not eating a cold 'Jinsters', Sam."

And so the debate continues.
But Ginsters, quick to spot the opportunity, tweeted: "Did you see #TheWrongMans Ginsters debate on BBC last night?"
The company then clarified: "There's no gin in Ginsters! :)"
Ginsters is named after the Ginster family, farmers who hailed from Callington in Cornwall. The correct pronunciation is with a hard G.
We're glad to help clear up that debate. Now on the subject of pie makers, how do you pronounce Pukka?"
