Battle of Dorylaeum: The Turks surrounded the Normans and expected to wipe
them out. Then the second contingent of French soldiers showed up and
outflanked the Turks, sending them into a complete rout. Some unknown force
drove the Europeans to victory that day, and led to thier capture of the
Holy Land… All those involved in that battle were long dead by the time
of Saladin..Therefore, the Muslims never got thier revenge upon those first
Crusaders, and thier victory was everlasting!
