I don’t know get why Rebecca Black’s new fireball single, “Saturday,” isn’t getting more attention.
Highlights: the sequel video begins with the whole crew hungover at the night of partying we saw in Rebecca Black’s dynamite debut single “Friday.” In the ~8 hours since the events of “Friday,” Black and her posse have aged a couple years and their partying has taken a dark turn. A guy loses his pants (he never does find them), bowls of milk are stolen, and a Miley Cyrus look-a-like dances in her underwear while people watch with awkwardly-intense concentration.
Lowlights: Although at one point the bottom of a pier does inspire awe and wonderment for at least one of Rebecca Black’s crew, the video has a dark ending when the One Black Guy awkwardly raps while being arrested — yes, the same Black Guy from “Friday,” who is also the producer of both videos (which means that he did in fact choose to do these ‘cameo’ spots of his own volition).
