We had a barbecue Saturday! And it was a SUCCESS ! Enough of a success for me to be able to 99.7% forget about the Failed Halloween Party of 2012…yeah!
It was a fun mix of family members, friends, old co-workers and current co-workers.
No fights broke out, there was a ton of food (and a lot of leftovers–pretty sure I gained another 5 pounds from eating leftover cookies and ice cream yesterday, but I refuse to weigh myself). Also: DOGS! People finally brought their DOGS! Just what I wanted!
Not to mention the weather was gloooooorious. I wore this old favorite, some glittery eyeshadow, and my flower sunglasses, and I had a fabulous time. Hooray for successful gatherings!
Also I discovered that cucumber water is like the best thing, ever. I’m pretty sure I’ve had about 4 glasses of it today, I can’t stop. YUM! Happy week, blog-logs!
