Tips for a Spooktacular Halloween – The Tornado Times

We have finally reached the month of October and that means it’s Halloween season. Soon little kids will be ringing your doorbells asking for candy and teens will be hanging out with their friends watching scary movies. But for some, they don’t know how to spend this spooky Friday night now that they are older.

Therefore I have created a list of five things that all celebrators should have ahead of time.

  1. Always have a bag ready. You never know, maybe you and your friends decide to take a younger sibling trick or treating and you will want some of that candy.

  2. If you are trick or treating bring a cellphone with you. It will come in handy as a flashlight and you can call for a ride home.

  3. For those that prefer to stay at home, rent some movies and invite a few people over or even watch it with your parents. Also have popcorn and some candy, just because you aren’t trick or treating doesn’t mean you can’t have some sweets.

  4. For the brave and adventurous, you should try to go to one of the Halloween events happening nearby. For example Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios is fun to go and scare your friends.

  5. At last an idea for those who think Halloween is lame and not worth their time. I suggest that you should spend a fun night with your parents or friends by going to the beach or the mall.
