I have 2 special needs daughters ages 4 and 8 and they both love this toy. It is so funny to listen to and all of the adults watching it cannot stop laughing too.
You will have to open the stomach area to cut it on and off or else it will just continue to play as long as things are moving around it.
I am now ordering one for my children.

Chuckle Buddies - Motion Activated Rolling Laughing Dog Puppy OpinionsMy dog's favorite toy ever! . We have a 1 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Buddy. He is a great dog, very calm and laid back, which is good for our kids (the youngest is 5). Buddy rarely gets very excited about anything. The only exception is when he sees another dog when we are out for a walk, and then he loves to run to the other dog and socialize.
Buddy has a large collection of traditional dog toys, which he tends to play with for less than a minute when we get them out, but then he quickly gets bored. When our 5 year old received the Chuckle Buddies rolling puppy as a Christmas present from her aunt, however, Buddy was *very* excited and fascinated by it, as you can see from the video. His reaction to this toy is probably more intense than his reaction to other dogs. He was a little afraid of it at first but quickly became comfortable with it, but still gets very excited and stimulated when we get it out. So Chuckle Buddies is now *our* Buddy's favorite toy, by a mile!
Of course this toy has not been designed as a doggy toy, so I would recommend not leaving it with your dog unsupervised. Our Buddy is so stimulated by this toy that we limit his time with it to 5 to 10 minutes, anyway. He does nip at it now, with no ill effects so far, but my 5 year old got worried about it being damaged so we bought a second Chuckle Buddy just for her.
Chuckle Buddies are Fun . I bought the dogs for a 2 1/2 yr old boy and and a 14 month old baby girl. They were both and still are thrilled with the Chuckle Buddies. It was a good purchase and it is very durable toy. The batteries lasted well over a month before needing to be replaced.
Chuckles . I bought this Cute little laughing dog 5 months ago, for my 6 week old puppy. He loves playing with it and I like being entertained by just watching the fun. This product is worth the low price. Gizmo, my 6 month old, Chichauaua/Pekignese loves it and its battery life is great. I have changed the batteries after about 3 months of continuous use. My only problem is keeping it clean. It would probably be fine with a child playing with it, but a puppy? They can be really tough on a toy. I would recommend this product to either a parent or pet owner.
I am going to buy the laughing monkey now. Great Christmas gift for my little friend, Gizmo.
Laugh riot . This thing is really funny but more for juvenile, slapstick-loving adults than children. I saw one in an airport and vowed to get one for my 6 month old grandson, but he is scared of it when it's laughing a rolling around. Maybe in a few months he'll think it is funny! Definitely fun for the parents though.

Fun little toy . We got this present for a gift and my three granddaughters (age 5,3,2) just love it. We all really giggled just listening to it laugh and watching it roll over.
Demonic laugh - sounds like a Halloween prop . Despite the adorable look of this dog, put the batteries in and you will hear a loud demonic laugh that will scare any child and most adults. There is no volume control, and to turn the thing on and off you have to open up the belly fur. Horrible design, and it sounds like they took a voice box from a Halloween fun house prop and put it into a stuffed animal. I do not recommend this toy and I will be returning the two that I bought.
Cons ReviewIt will make any grumpy old geezer laugh to tears! . This makes everybody laugh, no matter their outlook on life! My husband is battling cancer, so we took this with us to his chemotherapy treatment. The patients are in a large sunny room, and all of them were laughing--out loud! Thanks for a new way to cheer folks who really need it.
