Let me begin with the basics.I am Kate, a twentysomething gal living in the south. I attend the university located in my hometown and I hope to receive my B.A. in 2013 (three and a half years after my initial tentative date of graduation from college... more on that later). I love learning. I also have two jobs. One is secratarial which I scored through a friend I have known since 1994 while the other is chaffeur to my little sister (not as awesome as it sounds).
I am emotional, funny, serious, dramatic, intense, silly, sensitive, and good to the core (although that whole 'good' part is difficult to see sometimes). Join me on the adventure that is my life.

This is me, sitting on a thrown of beer kegs. My family reunion took place in Colorado in 2010 and this was literally outside the bathroom of the restaurant we were eating in and I never miss a photo opportunity.
This is me and my wonderful and amazing manfriend at Halloween 2011. Guess what we were? Actual face photos of L will appear if I get him to agree to it (or not, mwahaha).
This is me and my main woman, Claret. She is a pure-bred Shih Tzu and always brings a smile to my face.
Claret again, scoping out Halloween candy she cannot eat. Honestly, she is so adorable it melts my heart.
This is L's kitty cat, Raksha. L adopted her from the Humane Society the month we started dating. She is precocious, silly, and does not enjoy cuddling as much as Claret, but still a doll and I love her.
Now that I have documented a few key players in my life, I feel I can write more about it without making people go "But I want to know what they look like!" like I do when I read imageless blogs.
Next post I will document the journey that landed me in college years after I should have graduated. Oh yes, it will be adventurous, fun, and full of ups and downs! But what exciting life isn't?
