Easy Homemade Halloween Costumes | Halloween Contact Lenses



Why would you want to dig into your pockets when you can use bits around your home? It’s much more fun to create a costume with your children and they will love looking unique at their parties.


Bat Children’s Costume



You will need:

Grey fleece and pants

Black Shoes

Black Gloves

Black Baseball cap

Black Socks

Scissors

Felt: 1 pink, 1 black and 1 white

Pencil

Black Umbrella

Safety Pins

Material glue


1. Cut out 2 black teardrop shape ears and 2 smaller teardrop pink ears after drawing out with pencil.

2. Also cut two white small triangle fangs, two white eyes and small black pupils with the felt.

3. Glue the pink ears on the back of the black felt and glue to each side of your baseball cap.

4. Next, glue on the white eyes and pupils in the middle.

5. Finally, glue the two fangs on the cap’s brim.

6. Separate the black umbrella fabric from the metal skeleton and cut in half to form a semi-circle shape.

7. Attach the semicircle to the shoulders, back and arms of the grey fleece with safety pins, so it stays in place.


Rubix Cube Costume




You will need:

Large square cardboard box

Black electrical tape

Coloured paper

Glue

Scissors

Pencil


1. Cut the bottom of the cardboard box out.

2. Glue coloured paper to each side of the box e.g. we have done red one side and green the other then blue, yellow, white and orange.

3. Next, line the edges of the box with electrical tape and create a 3×3 grid each side. Please see photo for more information.

4. Draw a large circle for your head to go on the top of the box and one either side for your arms to go.
