Firefighters in Joliet are trying to find out what caused a home to explode.

It happened late Sunday night on South East Circle Drive in Joliet.

They had a difficult time battling the fire because there weren’t enough fire hydrants in the area.

One person was seriously injured. He’s being treated for burns. No word on his condition.

A firefighter was also hurt at the scene. He was taken to an area hospital and is in good condition.
