One day I was playing tennis with my brother Isaiah. I hit the ball so hard it went over the tennis court, past the playground, and into a mud patch. I saw a pig rolling in the mud. I wanted to roll with him. I jumped in the mud and rolled with him. When I rolled, I heard a loud “oink” and a loud “clank.” The loud “clank” came from my foot. But it wasn’t mud, it was a hard box. It was a big treasure box buried under the ground. I opened up the treasure box, and there was a ladder in it. I was small enough to fit into the box, so I got in and went down the ladder. At the bottom of the ladder was a room. It was a tiny room with dress-up costumes. I quickly went up the ladder, got my brother, and showed him the tiny room.
Isaiah and I had a lot of fun in the tiny room. We dressed up into lots of costumes like superman, animals, firemen, pirates, and cowboys. One costume was a clown costume. I looked really funny in it, so I did a silly dance. Isaiah laughed loudly. But when he laughed hard, a secret door opened. It was a room full of books. There was a sign that read, “Stop and read some books!” There was another sign that said, “You can take 10 books home.” Isaiah and I read books for a long time and had a lot of fun. We put 10 books in our backpacks and left. I picked up the tennis ball and went home.
