A youth minister at a church in West Dundee is due in bond court today after being charged with sexually assaulting a child.
Chad Coe, of Elgin, was director of the youth ministry at the First Congregational Church of Dundee.
The child’s mother told police, Coe assaulted the child at the church between June 10th and June 14th; Coe was arrested Tuesday.
Police will not say whether the child was part of Coe’s youth group.
Coe has been suspended by the church.
