Comedian Joel McHale will headline Campus Activities Board’s annual Comedy Show on Sunday, Feb. 24 in the Towson Center.

McHale is known for his weekly television show “The Soup” on E! network and his role as Jeff Winger on the NBC series “Community.”

“We’re all very excited, it’s the biggest comedy show CAB has ever put on,” CAB Director Nick Jones said. “He’s not only a really funny comedian, but he’s also really well known on cable and in movies.”

McHale recently starred in the feature film ‘Ted” opposite Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Seth MacFarlane.

Previously, CAB has featured comedians such as Eddie Griffin, Rob Schneider, Kevin Hart and Tracy Morgan in their annual comedy show.

However, this will be the first time the event is held in the Towson Center, Jones said.

“We’ll have a lot more seats for students and for the public,” Jones said. “So we recommend students get their tickets early.”

The Towson Center’s doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24.

Student tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the University Union Box Office. Non-TU student tickets will become available on Monday, Feb. 11 at the University Union Box Office and on Ticketmaster. Towson student tickets are $20 for floor seats and $15 for riser seats. Non-TU student tickets are $40 for floor seats and $35 for riser seats.
